Put on Love

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:16 NIV

Put on love from the very core of your being. Put down the heavy burden of unforgiveness it doesn’t do you any good to hold onto it like it’s a prized possession.

Unforgiveness seems as if it’s easy to carry around because you want ‘them’ to pay for what they’ve done. Don’t fall into that lie of the devil. The only person that pays is you. You become bitter and angry because you watch the offender living their best life, you can’t understand why they aren’t paying for their transgression, error or sin which makes you so stinking angry!

The truth is we all have to answer for the way we live life, the things we’ve done that hurt people, the sins we’ve committed, rest assured they will too. But for now, throw off that bitterness put on the love of Christ and allow him to help you live in peace with everyone, EVERYONE. You don’t have to be their best friend but you can love them, from afar if necessary, and pray Gods best for them.

Don’t ever allow the bitterness of unforgiveness rob you of your joy, your peace or your best life. Let it go and let God sort them out. Put it down and pick up love and freedom. God wants you to live your best life, one that is rich and rewarding and full of love. Love coming in and love going out. Reciprocal love.

“For love is supreme and must flow through each of these virtues. Love becomes the mark of true maturity. Let your heart be always guided by the peace of the Anointed One, who called you to peace as part of his one body. And always be thankful. Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms, and with festive praises, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts!” Colossians‬ ‭3:14-16‬ ‭TPT‬‬
