Jesus is Calling
“A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow!” John 10:10TPT
Is Jesus calling your name?
Have you ever felt like there should be something more to life? Are you feeling a tug on your heart?
Is Jesus calling you out of the dark pit you call life? Is he calling you out of mediocre? Is he calling you out of laziness. Is he calling you to MORE?
Yes, yes, He is. How do I know? He is always calling, always, every day in every way.
Go to Him, run....run as fast as you can toward Him. He will fill your days with love, joy, purpose, passion and peace that surpasses understanding.
He will rescue you, revive you, release you from whatever is holding you down and holding you back. Lean in and listen for his voice, pay attention to his instructions.
Break away from the oppression this world puts on you. Embrace the love of Jesus. Bask in the knowledge of what Jesus did for you at the cross. Yes you! He loves you! He died for you. He adores you. He wants only the best for you. He wants you to live your best life. But please, please, please do not confuse living your best abundant life with obtaining thing’s, rather it’s about discovering your life through him. Learning to be who he called you to be. To be happy, healthy and whole. To have extraordinary genuine deep meaningful and impactful connections with family and friends. To love and be loved supremely. To have an authentic relationship with Jesus
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37–40 NIV
Try to see the world through the lens of Jesus, in its perfection, not in its imperfect blemished state. I’m not saying to pretend everything is perfect, not at all. I’m merely suggesting taking a different perspective. A GOD perspective. Choose to be a kind, generous loving person to everyone you meet.
God’s desire is for us to start seeing everyone from his perfect vantage point. Put your faith and trust in Jesus. Take your eyes off yourself. Surrender yourself to Jesus, embracing all he has for you. Believe in him. Stand firm. Don’t be shaken. Give your heart to him and watch how he uses you to reach out and gather more people into the Kingdom of God.
LOVE GOD LOVE HIS PEOPLE.
Father, please help us see and love people the way You see and love us. Direct us to live life to the full, giving and getting the most out of every day. Living and loving with intention and focus. No more settling, no more playing small. We are inspired by you to be happy and grateful for each new beautiful day of life that is a gift, thankful for your breath in our lungs. Amen.
