Open Your Eyes!

If you are afraid, feeling closed in on all sides with nowhere to go, no answers forthcoming, if sickness seems to be taking over, negative thoughts dragging you down, or it seems as if the enemy is winning. I encourage you to read the story of Elisha and his servant in 2 Kings.

(‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭6:8-23‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬https://www.bible.com/100/2ki.6.8-23)

In a nut shell; they were surrounded by their enemy, the servant felt their chances of survival was bleak. He was panicked, scared for his life. Elisha prayed asking God to open the servants eyes to see what Elisha could see.

God opened the servants eyes he looked around to see an Army of Heavens Angels, too numerous in number to count, with chariots of fire and horses, surrounding their enemies ready to take out their enemies! Protecting them!

It’s the same for us!! There are always more for us than against us. God will always be there protecting us with an Army of His Heavenly Angels surrounding you with a hedge of protection. Surrounding your enemy in their fiery chariots, swords drawn ready to fight for you, ready to take them out!! Paints a comforting picture doesn’t it?

Keep that in mind the next time you are facing something. Perhaps if you pray for your eyes to be opened as Elisha did, you will also be able to see that vast army of God! Take comfort, whether or not you see them, they are with you just as they were with Elisha and his servant.

“For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.” Psalms‬ ‭91:11‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Never forget that if God is with you, who can be against you?

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

Father I thank you for your promise of protection, for delivering me from my enemies. For opened eyes that can see Heavens Army of Angels surrounding me from the schemes of evil. Thank you for the peace that comes with knowing I am protected by You. Amen.
