The Bible says that “love is of God” and “God is love” 1 John 4:7-8.

What then are some characteristics of love? What should love look like?

Love is Selfless.  

Love is Trusting. 

Love brings Unity. 

Love is Peaceful.

Love is Patient. 

Love is Kind. 

Love offers it’s Best. 

Love doesn’t Envy. 

Love doesn’t Boast.

Love doesn’t Gloat. 

Love Looks for the Best in Everyone. 

Love Gives its Best to Everyone. 

Put on Love everyday. Put it on when you get dressed. Imagine pulling love over your head like your favourite T-shirt or sweater. Replace any negative thought with thoughts of love and positivity. Keep your mind focused on Love! Focused on the One who Loved you first!

God wants to transform us into His likeness and mold our hearts and fill them with love. Through all the highs and lows of life, through hurt and pain, through confusion and mistrust, in all ways and every situation love is always the answer, because GOD=LOVE.
