Let Go!
Are you having trouble in your life? Is it time for you to let go of something? If so, let me encourage you. This bump in the road is no surprise to your Heavenly Father. He has good, good plans for you. He is intimately acquainted with every part of you, he knows who you are, he knows what you need. He even knows your internal dialogue.
Let go, let go of your trouble, your pain, your insecurity, the people who aren’t good for you. Open yourself up to let God do a work in you, through you, for you. Open your heart, open your mind, open your hands....leave them open to receive all he has for you. There is nothing that He cannot restore, make new or overcome.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”Romans 8:28 NIV
Letting go means taking a step of faith, followed by another and another and another. Just don’t give up. Take that first step with courage. That step into the unknown, leaving what is known, what is comfortable, what might feel good to you….but it isn’t right for you and you know it!! Let it go.
“And he has taught you to let go of the lifestyle of the ancient man, the old self-life, which was corrupted by sinful and deceitful desires that spring from delusions. Now it’s time to be made new by every revelation that’s been given to you.”
Ephesians 4:22-23 TPT
You may fall and you may fail but continue getting up and trying again, God will be right by your side, cheering you on bringing the people the tools the things needed to accomplish navigating the road ahead.
Trust that God is doing something else. Something new. Something different. Something beautiful. Something better.
Trust He uses obedience for blessings. Trust He uses hard things for greater things.
Trust He uses pain for change. Trust He uses all you are experiencing for growth and maturity. Trust Him.
Doesn't a fruit tree grow a blossom, it then lets that blossom go, and from the letting go - more trees are found in other places. For a season, the tree looks empty, fruitless, hopeless, barren. But it is simply making space for new blossoms. There is a season of unseen change happening but come the spring time there will be another explosion of beautiful blossoms. New life. New cycle. New beginnings. Can you imagine that for your life? God can, if you Trust Him.
Father God I pray you help us to let go of the vice like grip we have on our current problems, issues, and troubles. Beginning a new work in us Lord. And should we stumble and fall we know you will be there to pick us back up, dust is off and put us right back on our path. Amen!
