Weakness=Grace
When we embrace our weaknesses, God releases His grace!
"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong" 1 Corinthians 12: 9-10
We all have ‘things’ or ‘stuff’ or ‘challenges’ we go through. Granted some are so much tougher than others, this year may be a tougher year for you, it may even be your toughest year to date. If this is you I want to say how sorry I am. Be encouraged, it wont always be this way. I’ve discovered it’s the trials that keep us humble and honest, they make us realize we aren’t our own savior and help us see how much we need, really, Really, REALLY need Jesus. He’s the One with limitless power and transforming grace that can help us through any situation.
I hope the below scripture provides comfort to anyone needing it, my prayer is this will help take the focus off whatever problems or hardships you may be facing, and put them on your solution.
"He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?" Romans 8:32
If God met our greatest need at the cross, how can we not trust him to meet our lesser needs? How can we not trust that he will enable us to live the life he has called us to? Why do we believe that our weaknesses are a stumbling block for him, rather than a opening for his grace to flow, an area for him to show us his greatness?
Be courageous in the Lord. Walk with him. Allow him to lead you through your trouble, your heartache, your pain. There’s glory waiting for you on the other side.
Praying this verse comforts you;
“Even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.” Psalms 23:4 The Passion Translation
Don’t allow your circumstances conquer you when God has already gone before you and conquered them!
