He Died for You

Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”‭‭John‬ ‭6:35‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Can you believe Jesus died for you? That his sacrifice paid for your guilt and shame once and for all? That it grafted you into Gods family as a son or a daughter with full rights and privileges? Can you believe that God could never love you any more or any less than he does right now, no matter what you do or don't do, have done or will do? His love for you is fierce, never changing and unconditional.

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior you can live a different life. You can find happiness and joy and peace. Forgiveness, mercy and grace are freely given once you surrender your life to Christ. You don't have to change who you are right now or all at once, you only need to be bold and courageous. Go ahead take a step of faith.

Change may be slow at first, it is a gradual yet inevitable process from giving your life to Christ. Believe me it will happen organically, no need to rush it, force it or berate yourself when you slip back into old habits. It’s okay, we all mess up. The secret is not giving up. Recognize your mistakes, ask for forgiveness, vow to keep trying to do better and commit to change.

Pray the prayer of redemption, Jesus will happily meet you where you are in life. He will help with your drug, alcohol, or fill in the blank here, addiction. Your cussing. Your anger issues. Your infidelity. Whatever it is you struggle with Jesus can, will and wants to help you. The closer you get to Jesus the better you become at life.

Maybe you have a great life. Already living the dream but you feel there's something missing. Something you can't quite put your finger on. Jesus can fill that hole too. He's the person you've always wanted to meet but didn't know it, in a place you've never been but always wanted to go. The missing piece of the puzzle. The Great I AM. Give your life to Him. What do you have to lose? Start living a life full of joy today.

Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 1 Peter 1:8

You can receive salvation by a sincere prayer dedicating your life to Jesus and asking for forgiveness of your sins. Have you ever prayed this prayer? If not, the time is now. Father God thank you for sending your son to die for me. I am so sorry for the sins I commit against you. Search me, search my heart Lord and see how much I love you, how much I need you in my life. Help me to follow you for the rest of my days. Thank you for forgiving my sins and help me to forgive those who have hurt me. I ask you to come into my life that I might know your joy. I surrender all that I am and all that I have, to you today. Teach me how to be the best possible version of me and help me walk in love as you do for the rest of my life. I love you, Lord. It’s in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
