Do you feel insufficient when God asks you to do something?

What do you say to yourself? How are you in the habit of answering God?

I’m not good enough? How can I accomplish that? God, was that really you?

Vow today to stop with all the negative self-talk and questioning God. The truth is if God is asking you to do it, he will equip you. What he needs from you is trust, faith, open hands, a surrendered heart and a first step. Trust that he will use you and wants to use you to change the world!

Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:12

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

When you believe God is for you and with you, you can accomplish surprising things, great things even. Offer what you hold in your hands, no matter how small and insignificant it looks to you, it is sufficient enough for God to use. Give him your time, talent or treasure he will take what you offer and multiply it. Just as he did with the loaves and fishes in Matthew 14:13-21. If you will open your hands, your heart and your mind to Gods almighty power and say “okay Lord I’m going to be obedient to your will, here’s what I have, use it show me what ya got”! He will blow you away with his multiplication!! His God Math.

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Don’t be held back by your insecurities, lack of knowledge, or fear of failure. God’s word promises his grace is sufficient that he will work with our weaknesses! We know he doesn’t break his promises so offer up your weaknesses and watch him supply and multiply.

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Pray and ask God for a glimpse of his plans for your life. Thank him in advance for giving you the determination to start, the wisdom to know how to start, thank him for giving you creative ideas and for sending the right people across your path to help you accomplish them.

Get excited knowing what you’re about to embark upon will bring him glory as well as touch life’s and save souls along the way. You are a world changer!

Please stop worrying about what you don’t have and honour God with what you do have. Open up those hands, give Him all you have, then watch with awe and wonder at what he does with it.

God, I open my hands to you today and offer all I have to you to use in whatever way you see fit. Clearly in my hands it isn’t enough, but I trust in yours it will be greatly multiplied to bring you glory. I step out with bold confidence saying Father do everything you can with what I have, it’s all yours. I’m all yours. Amen.
